What power do I need, and what if there is no outdoor outlet?

Each unit runs on a blower that needs a standard outlet within about 50 feet, ideally its own 20-amp circuit so the breaker does not trip. No outdoor power, or setting up at a park? Add a generator at checkout and we will bring it so everything runs all day.

How much space do I need, and what surface works?

Most units want a flat area a few feet larger than the footprint listed on the product page, plus clearance for the blower. Level grass is ideal, but we also set up on driveways and concrete with sandbags. Please clear the path through your gate and watch for low branches or power lines.

Can you set up at a park in Kingsland?

Yes, plenty of Kingsland families book us for Kingsland Community Park, and Sandy Beach at the Slab. Most city parks require a reservation and a certificate of insurance, which we are happy to provide on request. Parks without an outlet need a generator, and we rent those too so your unit stays inflated all day.

From 10x10 high peak and frame tents up to large 40-foot frame and drive-through tents, plus 6-foot and 8-foot rectangle tables, 5-foot and 6-foot round tables, and adult and kids folding chairs by the dozen. Build the exact mix you need on the category page.

How many people, tables, and chairs fit under each tent?

As a rule of thumb a 10x20 tent seats around 20 guests with tables and a 20x20 seats about 40, while a 6-foot table seats 6 to 8 and an 8-foot table seats 8 to 10. Most of our tent pages also include a layout diagram, so you can map out tables and chairs and estimate your headcount before you book.

What keeps a tent rental most affordable?

A few things help. Letting us drop off the day before and pick up the day after is the most cost-efficient schedule, and we can also do same-day delivery and pickup for an added fee. Setting up on grass where we can drive stakes keeps the price down too, because if we cannot stake, we have to bring water barrels to weight the tent, which adds cost. We deliver throughout the area with a low order minimum.

How do you anchor the tent, and what should I do before you arrive?

Our crew installs and stakes frame tents using 24-inch stakes driven into the ground, then takes everything down at the end. Before we arrive, please flag any water, gas, sprinkler, or other underground lines on the property so we can place the stakes safely and avoid any surprises. Tables and chairs are dropped stacked for you, or we can set them up for an added fee.

Can I add lights to my tent?

Yes. String and globe lights are one of our most popular add-ons, and they make an evening tent look great for weddings, parties, and company events. Add them to your tent right on the product page.

Can I add a tent to my bounce house or table order?

Absolutely. Many Kingsland customers add a tent for shade along with tables, chairs, and a bounce house on one order, and we deliver and set it all up together.

What happens if it is windy or rainy on my event day?

Frame tents are staked or weighted for stability in normal weather. If severe weather threatens, call us and we will reschedule and hold your full payment as store credit, so bad weather never costs you the rental.

How far ahead should I book, and can you handle last-minute tent needs?

Tents and large table orders go fast in peak season, so reserve as early as you can online with a small deposit. That said, we can accommodate most last-minute tent needs at the same transparent price, so call us even if your event is close and we will do our best to make it happen.

Sky High Party Rentals is the best in the industry (Houston-area) for bounce houses, inflatable water slides, snow cone machine, and lots of other fun party supplies! the delivery team was excellent setting up and taking down the water slide, and they made our event a huge success by their professional work and friendly customer service. We have rented a huge waterslide and snow cone machine from them for many years for our Back to School Fun Day, and we have always had the best experience --all good. A few times there has been a small problem with the equipment, but they sent their crew to us quickly and fixed the problem very fast. This year we did not have any problem at all, so they just dropped off the items and picked them back up when scheduled. It is very easy to rent from this company, because it can all be done online. They also have excellent customer service and when you call you get to talk to a person not a computer. It is easy to get the answer to the question you have, because they have great customer service and it is fast to reach someone. We could not recommend this company more, because like I said they are just simply the best!
