Frequently Asked Questions
Most Dallas-area families book about 24 days ahead, and about 31% book within a week of the party. 66% of these parties land on a Saturday or Sunday, so popular weekends fill first. Pick your date and ZIP at the top of the page to see what is open on yours.
Sky High set up 539 water slide parties across Dallas-Fort Worth in the last 12 months, 2,288 since 2020. The most booked were Big 3in1 Multi Color Bounce House Combo w/ (Dry or Wet/Water Slide) (52 parties), Mega Pink Bounce House Combo w/ (Dry or Wet/Water Slide) (35 parties), Modern Rainbow Bounce House Combo (Wet/Dry) (25 parties), Excavator Bounce House Combo w/ (Dry or Wet/Water Slide) (17 parties) and 15ft Slide (Dry or Wet/Water Slide) (16 parties).
Our busiest months for water slides in Dallas are May, July and August, based on every booking since 2020.
For a party, renting is usually the better deal. A commercial water slide and its blower cost far more than a day's rental, weigh hundreds of pounds, and have to be cleaned and fully dried after every use. When you rent from Sky High, our crew delivers the slide, sets it up, anchors it and connects your garden hose, then picks it up after the party. The blower comes with it, every slide is cleaned and sanitized before it reaches you, and it is commercial grade, state-inspected and fully insured. You never have to store, dry or repair it.
Rentals start from $250 across our lineup. Our crew delivers, sets up, and picks up, and the delivery fee for your ZIP is shown at checkout before you pay. Your exact price depends on the unit, your event date, and delivery location - enter your date and ZIP on any product to see the live price and confirm it is available.
Slides are designed for ages 3 and up. Small 12–15 ft slides are suitable for preschool and elementary ages, while dual-lane slides up to 24 ft tall are popular for teenagers and adults. Corporate events often request the largest slides because they accommodate high-volume use.
Yes. Schools and recreation centers in Dallas frequently book dry slides indoors for winter carnivals and lock-ins. Indoor setups require a ceiling clearance of at least 15 ft and a wide enough doorway for delivery.
Safety guidelines include: one rider per lane at a time, no flips or roughhousing, grouping children by size, and adult supervision at all times. For wet rentals, cords and blowers must be kept dry.
Yes. The most booked units on this page are combos that run wet or dry, so the same slide works for a March birthday and an August one. You choose wet or dry when you book, and the bounce area stays the same either way.
We deliver Dallas Wet & Dry Slide Rentals throughout the DFW Metroplex, including Fort Worth Water Slides, Arlington Water Slides, Plano Water Slides, Irving Water Slides, Garland Water Slides, Grand Prairie Water Slides, Mesquite Water Slides, Richardson Water Slides, Rowlett Water Slides, Farmers Branch Water Slides, and Waco Water Slides. Our trucks deliver to schools, churches, backyards, and large corporate venues across North Texas.
Yes. Many parks in the Dallas area, including Klyde Warren Park, White Rock Lake Park, Trinity Park in Fort Worth, and Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, allow inflatables with prior approval. Most parks require a permit and a certificate of insurance, which Sky High provides. If power is not available, we also offer generator rentals.
Yes. Overnight rentals are available for both wet and dry slides. Select “8am pickup” for the following morning at checkout. Many customers choose overnight rentals for two-day school events or weekend festivals.
If weather looks uncertain, you can cancel before delivery and receive a full store credit with no expiration date. Once setup is complete, the rental fee applies. If rain passes during the event, simply towel-dry the slide and continue using it.
Yes. We stock licensed inflatables featuring Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Nickelodeon characters. Popular choices for Dallas include tropical-themed water slides for backyard birthdays and castle slides for school carnivals.
Yes. We offer slides at every price point, from compact backyard slides to giant dual-lane festival slides. Visit our Dallas Specials Page to see current discounts and package deals.
With 20+ years of experience, 100,000+ successful events, and 1,000+ five-star reviews, Sky High is the most trusted provider of inflatable obstacle courses in the U.S. We are fully insured, deliver with background-checked crews, and provide AR previews so schools, churches, and families can plan confidently.
For wet setups, you need a standard garden hose connected to a water source with consistent pressure. Most setups require only one hose, and our crew provides the misting system. For dry setups, no water connection is required.
Slides vary by size, but most require 15–20 ft in width and 25–40 ft in length. Large dual-lane slides may require 40+ ft. Each product page includes exact dimensions, and our AR preview tool allows you to see how the inflatable will look in your space.
You can cancel or reschedule for any reason right up until our crew arrives, even the morning of, and your full payment is held as store credit that never expires toward a new date. Once we deliver and set up, if you choose to go ahead and it rains after we leave, the rental is final, since we still have to return to collect and clean it.
Each unit has a misting hose or sprinkler attachment that continuously sprays water across the slide. This keeps the sliding surface slick for riders. When used dry, the hose remains disconnected, and the slide is just as safe for climbing and sliding.
Slides are vacuumed, scrubbed with soap and water, and disinfected with EPA-approved products between every rental. High-touch areas such as steps and handrails are given extra attention.
If wind speeds exceed 15 mph, immediately stop use and turn off the inflatable. Even with stakes or sandbags, inflatables cannot be safely secured in high winds. A good rule of thumb: if you see trees swaying heavily or a storm is approaching, power off the blower until conditions improve.
Most rentals require a 50% deposit at booking, with the balance due 2 days before your party. Parties within 36 hours are paid in full at checkout. For large orders over $1,000, such as school field days or corporate picnics, only a 25% deposit is required. This reduced deposit makes it easier for organizations to secure multiple inflatables in advance.
