FAQ - DFW, TX Jr. Double Inflatable Slide | Sky High Party Rentals

Question 1

How much does it cost to rent a water slide?

Accepted Answer

Rentals start from $250 across our lineup. Our crew delivers, sets up, and picks up, and the delivery fee for your ZIP is shown at checkout before you pay. Your exact price depends on the unit, your event date, and delivery location - enter your date and ZIP on any product to see the live price and confirm it is available.

Question 2

What ages are best suited for wet/dry slides in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

Slides 15 ft and under suit ages 2 and up, with a grown-up at the bottom for toddlers, and slides 16 ft and taller ages 5 and up. Small 12–15 ft slides are suitable for preschool and elementary ages, while dual-lane slides up to 24 ft tall are popular for teenagers and adults. Corporate events often request the largest slides because they accommodate high-volume use.

Question 3

What do I need to provide for a wet slide setup?

Accepted Answer

For wet setups, you need a standard garden hose connected to a water source with consistent pressure. Most setups require only one hose, and our crew provides the misting system. For dry setups, no water connection is required.

Question 4

Can wet/dry slides be set up indoors in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Schools and recreation centers in Dallas frequently book dry slides indoors for winter carnivals and lock-ins. Indoor setups require a ceiling clearance of at least 15 ft and a wide enough doorway for delivery.

Question 5

How much space do wet/dry slides require?

Accepted Answer

Slides vary by size, but most require 15–20 ft in width and 25–40 ft in length. Large dual-lane slides may require 40+ ft. Each product page includes exact dimensions, and our AR preview tool allows you to see how the inflatable will look in your space.

Question 6

What safety rules apply to wet/dry slides in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

Safety guidelines include: one rider per lane at a time, no flips or roughhousing, grouping children by size, and adult supervision at all times. For wet rentals, cords and blowers must be kept dry.

Question 7

Which areas around Dallas–Fort Worth do you deliver wet/dry inflatable slides to?

Accepted Answer

We deliver Dallas Wet & Dry Slide Rentals throughout the DFW Metroplex, including Fort Worth Water Slides, Arlington Water Slides, Plano Water Slides, Irving Water Slides, Garland Water Slides, Grand Prairie Water Slides, Mesquite Water Slides, Richardson Water Slides, Rowlett Water Slides, Farmers Branch Water Slides, and Waco Water Slides. Our trucks deliver to schools, churches, backyards, and large corporate venues across North Texas.

Question 8

What is your Weather Guarantee?

Accepted Answer

You can cancel or reschedule for any reason right up until our crew arrives, even the morning of, and your full payment is held as store credit that never expires toward a new date. Once we deliver and set up, if you choose to go ahead and it rains after we leave, the rental is final, since we still have to return to collect and clean it.

Question 9

How do wet/dry slides remain wet during use?

Accepted Answer

Each unit has a misting hose or sprinkler attachment that continuously sprays water across the slide. This keeps the sliding surface slick for riders. When used dry, the hose remains disconnected, and the slide is just as safe for climbing and sliding.

Question 10

Can wet/dry slides be used at Dallas parks?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Many parks in the Dallas area, including Klyde Warren Park, White Rock Lake Park, Trinity Park in Fort Worth, and Lynn Creek Park in Grand Prairie, allow inflatables with prior approval. Most parks require a permit and a certificate of insurance, which Sky High provides. If power is not available, we also offer generator rentals.

Question 11

How are wet/dry slides cleaned and maintained?

Accepted Answer

Slides are vacuumed, scrubbed with soap and water, and disinfected with EPA-approved products between every rental. High-touch areas such as steps and handrails are given extra attention.

Question 12

Can I keep a wet/dry slide overnight in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Overnight rentals are available for both wet and dry slides. Select “8am pickup” for the following morning at checkout. Many customers choose overnight rentals for two-day school events or weekend festivals.

Question 13

What is your cancellation and weather policy in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

If weather looks uncertain, you can cancel before delivery and receive a full store credit with no expiration date. Once setup is complete, the rental fee applies. If rain passes during the event, simply towel-dry the slide and continue using it.

Question 14

Do you carry themed wet/dry slides for Dallas events?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We stock licensed inflatables featuring Disney, Marvel, Star Wars, and Nickelodeon characters. Popular choices for Dallas include tropical-themed water slides for backyard birthdays and castle slides for school carnivals.

Question 15

What should I do if wind speeds increase during my event?

Accepted Answer

If wind speeds exceed 15 mph, immediately stop use and turn off the inflatable. Even with stakes or sandbags, inflatables cannot be safely secured in high winds. A good rule of thumb: if you see trees swaying heavily or a storm is approaching, power off the blower until conditions improve.

Question 16

Are your inflatable wet/dry slides affordable in Dallas?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer slides at every price point, from compact backyard slides to giant dual-lane festival slides. Visit our Dallas Specials Page to see current discounts and package deals.

Question 18

Do I need to provide water?

Accepted Answer

For any water slide or slip-n-slide, yes - we hook up to a standard garden-hose spigot, so we just need a water source within reach (we bring the hose). Dry units and bounce houses need no water at all.

Question 19

What deposit is required for wet/dry slide rentals?

Accepted Answer

Most rentals require a 50% deposit at booking, with the balance due 2 days before your party. Parties within 36 hours are paid in full at checkout. For large orders over $1,000, such as school field days or corporate picnics, only a 25% deposit is required. This reduced deposit makes it easier for organizations to secure multiple inflatables in advance.
