Is the shark slide a good choice for a hot Dallas Metroplex summer day?

It is one of the best. The tall climb gets the blood going and the splash-pool finish cools everyone off, so kids cycle through for hours instead of melting in the North Texas heat. Run it wet and it becomes the centerpiece of any July backyard party.

Can I run the shark slide dry?

Yes. Leave the water off and it is a full dry slide for birthdays, school carnivals, and cooler weekends. That wet or dry flexibility means one rental covers August heat or a fall festival. On dry days it is safe to run without sprinklers since the surface stays dry.

How does the shark slide actually work?

Riders climb the built-in wall up the side of the shark, reach the top about 20ft up, then rocket out through the open shark mouth, past the teeth, and down into a splash pool at the bottom. It is a single tall slide lane with a wave-design body in blue, white, and gray. Climb, drop, splash, repeat.

Can I keep the shark slide overnight?

For the best value we recommend our 8am next-day option: we deliver, you enjoy it through the evening, and our crew collects it the next morning. It gives you the longest run for the lowest cost. Just ask when you book.

How much space do I need, and can I see it in my Dallas yard first?

This shark is 35ft long, 17ft wide, and 20ft tall, so plan for clearance on all sides plus overhead, away from power lines and branches. Use our View in My Yard AR tool on the product page to preview the exact footprint in your Plano or Arlington yard before you book.

Can bigger kids, teens, and adults ride, or just little ones?

It is built for ages 5 and up, and the climb plus the 20ft drop is a real thrill for teens and adults too. Kids 5 to 12 are the sweet spot, but the dad who swore he was just watching usually ends up in line. One rider at a time down the slide.

Is this a good pick for toddlers ages 1 to 4?

Not really. The tall climb and steep drop suit ages 5 and up. For little ones 1 to 4, browse our gentler Dallas toddler water slides built low to the ground with shallow splash areas.

Is there a pool at the bottom, and how deep is it?

Yes. The slide finishes into a shallow inflatable splash pool, just a few inches of water to cushion the landing and add the splash. It is not for swimming or sitting in, so even younger riders stay safe. The pool recirculates the water back up the slide.

What power does it need, and how do I keep the breaker from tripping?

Plug the blower into a dedicated standard outlet within about 50 feet, ideally its own 20-amp circuit, and avoid sharing it with other high-draw appliances so the breaker does not trip. No outdoor power nearby? Add a generator and we will bring it so the unit stays full all day.

Do I need to provide water?

For any water slide or slip-n-slide, yes - we hook up to a standard garden-hose spigot, so we just need a water source within reach (we bring the hose). Dry units and bounce houses need no water at all.

How much is the deposit, and what if I need to cancel?

A 50% deposit locks your date, or 25% for orders over $1,000, with the balance due before your event. If plans change, your deposit converts to store credit that never expires rather than a cash refund.

Description

The Metroplex summer just found its centerpiece. A blue-and-white shark towers 20 feet over a backyard party in Plano, jaws wide open at the top, its body painted in cresting wave designs that practically move. Kids scramble up the climbing wall, hit the top breathless, then rocket out through the open shark mouth into the splash pool below. One shriek and the whole crew is racing back up to do it again.
