Is there a pool at the bottom, and how deep is it?

Yes. The slide finishes into a shallow inflatable splash pool, just a few inches of water to cushion the landing and add the splash. It is not for swimming or sitting in, so even younger riders stay safe. The pool recirculates the water back up the slide.

Question 2

How much is the deposit, and what if I need to cancel?

Accepted Answer

A 50% deposit locks your date, or 25% for orders over $1,000, with the balance due before your event. If plans change, your deposit converts to store credit that never expires rather than a cash refund.

Do you deliver the shark slide across Austin and San Antonio?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We deliver, set up, and collect across Central Texas, including Round Rock, New Braunfels, San Marcos, Georgetown, and San Antonio. Tell us your address and we will confirm your window.

Question 4

What power does it need, and how do I keep the breaker from tripping?

Accepted Answer

Plug the blower into a dedicated standard outlet within about 50 feet, ideally its own 20-amp circuit, and avoid sharing it with other high-draw appliances so the breaker does not trip. No outdoor power nearby? Add a generator and we will bring it so the unit stays full all day.

Is the shark slide a good choice for a hot Central Texas summer day?

Accepted Answer

It is one of the best. The tall climb gets the blood going and the splash-pool finish cools everyone off, so kids cycle through for hours instead of melting in the Hill Country heat. Run it wet and it becomes the centerpiece of any July backyard party.

Is this a good pick for toddlers ages 1 to 4?

Accepted Answer

Not really. The tall climb and steep drop suit ages 3 and up, with 5 and older the best fit. For little ones 1 to 4, browse our gentler Austin toddler water slides built low to the ground with shallow splash areas.

Can I run the shark slide completely dry?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Leave the water off and it is a full dry slide for birthdays, school carnivals, and cooler weekends. That wet or dry flexibility means one rental covers August heat or a fall festival. On dry days it is safe to run without sprinklers since the surface stays dry.

How wet does it get, and do I need a hose?

Accepted Answer

Run wet, you connect a regular garden hose to keep a steady trickle down the slide surface and feed the splash pool. Riders get soaked at the bottom. You provide the hose within reach of the setup spot; we handle the rest. It is a true summer soaker.

Question 9

Do I add soap or anything to make it slippery?

Accepted Answer

No, please do not. Soap or oils make the slide dangerously fast and void safe use. The water flow alone keeps it slick and fun. Plain water from your hose is all it needs for the full splash.

Can bigger kids, teens, and adults ride, or just little ones?

Accepted Answer

It is built for ages 3 and up, and the climb plus the 20ft drop is a real thrill for teens and adults too. Kids 5 to 12 are the sweet spot, but the dad who swore he was just watching usually ends up in line. One rider at a time down the slide.

How much space do I need, and can I see it in my Austin yard first?

Accepted Answer
