At Sky High Party Rentals we are committed to safely setting up your party rentals.

Confirmations

All moonwalks are cleaned and inspected during the weekdays for the weekend. If your party is on Sunday we may require a on the spot cleanup if your items were rented the day before. 

Weather

Weather plays a big part for your reservation. On rainy days, we will still load your equipment for its route. We will call you during the time of setup for your party. If you think the weather will not clear up, you can cancel and reschedule your party for up to a year. If it begins to rain on your party after we have setup you should turn the moonwalk off until the rain stops. You are still responsible for payment if you choose to have our deliver crew setup the moonwalk.

Power Requirements

Most rentals require at least one to 2 outlets located within 50 ft on separate breakers. If you are getting 3 moonwalks you may need a generator or a way we can hook up to multiple breakers. Our generators can power up to 3 moonwalks for 4 hours straight at full capacity. If your party is longer than 4 hours you may need to have a gas can handy.

If you are having a party at a park, you may be required to supply a power source as well as turn in a insurance certificate from our company. You can request these forms by replying to our welcome email or calling us.

Concessions

All of our concessions include supplies for 50 servings, additional supplies in quantities of 50 can be purchased.  Snow cone machines do not include ICE. You will need 3 -4 bags of ice per supply of 50 people.

Water Source & Door Clearance 

A water source is needed up to any water activities. If you are getting multiple water activities you must supply hoses to each of the water attractions.

We require at least a 3 -4  ft wide entrance for most inflatables, but our dunk tanks may require up to 5 ft clearance.

Tables and Chairs

Our tables are rented every weekend and endure rough transportation scuffs, and scratches and are gray, brown, and white. We ask that you provide table covers for each of our 3 sizes, 5 ft round tables, 4ft kids tables, and 6ft x 3 rectangular adult tables. 

Attendant Responsibilities

An attendant is needed at all times while moonwalks are in operation. During the party, Should the moonwalk begin to lose air, remain calm and have children make their exit carefully. Attendant should: Check that blower is plugged in, check to make sure the blow tupe is attached to the blower and then check to make sure the breaker has not popped on the house or generator.  

All children must be grouped by size, to prevent injury from rough horse play with a teenager and a toddler.

Only 1 to 2 children are allowed to use a slide at a time. Attendants should watch out for kids climbing on sides of the moonwalk or piling up at the top.  Parents are cautioned not to slide with children to prevent injury when reaching the bottom of the slide.

Stakes and Anchoring

We use 18inch stakes to secure moonwalks to the ground on grass. Call 811 and the city may be able to flag where water lines, sprinklers, or gas lines are located. This will help our delivery crews setup your moonwalk safely without causing any damage to your property. Our drivers will setup the moonwalk anywhere you need it as long as it is safe.

If your party will be setup on concrete let us know. On high wind days we will need to bring sandbags and rope to tie the moonwalks near solid structures such as street lights, trees, concrete blocks, or heavy materials to avoid movement. If you are having a party on an open field we will need to bring special large 3 ft stakes.

 Wind Advisory

If wind ever exceeds 15mph all moonwalks should be turned off and children exited until weather clears. If you cannot tell how fast the wind is blowing look at nearby trees or make sure the moonwalk doesn�t appear to be swaying. This is a strong indication that a storm may be brewing and maybe time for Cake.

Pickup

When your party is over, You are responsible for the moonwalk until it is picked up. We will arrive during your pickup window and only need 45 minutes to break down most large events. If your moonwalk is not picked up within your pickup window please call our offices or leave a message. It may be because your drivers is picking up another rental ending at the same time. Please let us know how flexible pickup and dropoff are so we can schedule delivery/pickup accordingly.

Q. How long can I keep my rental?
  • The base price for all of our items is for up to 4 hours of rental time. Prices increase incrementally for rentals lasting more than 4 hours. You can keep most rentals for as long as you like (up to 7 days) for an additional fee. If you need to keep your rental item(s) overnight, select “8 am” on the following day as your pick-up time for the most cost-effective option.

Q. How much space will I need for my rental?
  • Dimensions for each product are listed on the product page. We recommend at least 1 ft. of extra clearance on all sides. If you want your inflatable placed in your backyard, you also need to make sure that your gate is at least 3.5 ft. wide to allow enough space to get our equipment through.

Q. What time will you deliver?
  • After you select and confirm your rental items on our website, you will see a list of options that allows you to choose windows for your preferred drop-off and pick-up times. We will contact you the day before your event to get a more specific timeframe within that window. Typically, we drop-off at least 1-2 hours prior to your event’s start time and pick-up items within 1-2 hours after your requested end time.

Q. Can I pick up the rental?
  • Yes, we allow pick up from our Oak Forest location at 3517 Pinemont dr. Houston, TX 77018. You can pick up tables, chairs, concessions or any other small amount of party rentals items if you don’t meet our minimum order for delivery. At this time, we don’t allow pick up of our heavy inflatables.

Q. Do I need to supply power for my party rental?
  • Yes, power is required for inflatables and most of our other rental items. If you don’t have power outlets located nearby or your event is at a park, you may need to rent a generator from us. Most rentals require 1 to 2 outlets (on separate breakers) within 50 ft. of wherever the item is placed. We provide 50-75 ft. extension cords at no extra cost.

Q. Can you set up inflatables at parks?
  • Yes. However, most parks require you to get approval prior to setting up a moonwalk. They also require a certificate of insurance, which we can provide for an additional $25.

Q. When do I pay for my order?
  • A 50% down payment is due when you make the initial reservation. The remainder of the payment is due on the date of your event (of course, you can pay early, if you prefer). For schools, government agencies, or nonprofits that need to pay with purchase orders or checks, please call us at (281) 606-5867 to make a reservation.

Q. What if I need to cancel my reservation?
  • Our no-hassle reschedule policy means you can cancel for any reason up until your scheduled delivery time. You will receive a “rescheduling” credit that is valid for up to 1 year from the original date of your event. Credit will not be issued after we have delivered the rental equipment. We do not allow refunds.

Q. Can I buy an inflatable or party item from your company?
  • Yes, in addition to renting equipment we sell all of our used inflatables. We also provide new equipment. Please note that all sales in Texas are taxable at 8.25%, unless you are tax exempt. Contact us for more information at 1-855-627-7594 or fill out our sales request form
