### What ages are bounce houses best suited for?

Bounce houses are generally designed for ages 3–12. For older kids, teens, and adults, we recommend larger inflatables such as obstacle courses or interactive sports games.

### Can bounce houses be set up indoors in Austin or San Antonio?

Yes. Many churches, gyms, and recreation centers rent bounce houses indoors during colder months. A ceiling of at least 15 ft and wide access points are required for safe setup.

### Can bounce houses be set up at parks in Austin or San Antonio?

Yes. Parks such as Zilker Park, Pease Park, and Mueller Lake Park in Austin, and Brackenridge Park, San Pedro Springs Park, and McAllister Park in San Antonio, allow bounce houses with permits. A certificate of insurance is usually required, which we provide, and generators can be rented if electricity isn’t available.

### How much space is required for a bounce house?

Most bounce houses measure 13x13 ft or 15x15 ft, requiring about 17–20 ft of total space. Larger combos with slides may need more. Exact dimensions are available on each product page, and AR previews let you visualize the setup in your space.

### How far ahead should I book a College in Austin?

Most Austin-area families book about 37 days ahead, and about 16% book within a week of the party. 37% of these parties land on a Saturday or Sunday, so popular weekends fill first. Pick your date and ZIP at the top of the page to see what is open on yours.

### Which College rentals are the most popular in Austin?

Sky High set up 147 College events across Austin and San Antonio in the last 12 months, 848 since 2020. The most booked were Snow Cone Machine, 2 Rectangle Tables & 12 Chairs Package (108 parties), Dunk Tank Rental (35 parties), Mechanical Bull Rental (23 parties), 32ft Double Lane Slip and Slide (17 parties) and Shooting Stars Basketball Shootout (16 parties).

### Do you set up College rentals for schools, churches and company events in Austin?

Yes. 37% of the College rentals we set up across Austin and San Antonio in the last 12 months were for a school, church, company or organization, and 63% of those events ran on a weekday.

### When is College season in Austin?

Our busiest months for College rentals in Austin are May, September and October, based on every booking since 2020.

### How are bounce houses cleaned before delivery?

Each bounce house is vacuumed, washed with soap and water, and sanitized with EPA-approved disinfectant. Special care is taken with netting, steps, and entryways.

### What safety rules should children follow in bounce houses?

Shoes must be removed, no food or drinks allowed, no flips or roughhousing, and children should be grouped by size. Adult supervision is mandatory.

### Can bounce houses be kept overnight?

Yes. Overnight rentals are available for both private and community events. Select “8am pickup” at checkout for next-morning pickup.

### What deposit is required for bounce house rentals?

Most rentals require a 50% deposit at booking, with the balance due 2 days before your party. Parties within 36 hours are paid in full at checkout. For larger rentals over $1,000 — such as school carnivals, church festivals, or corporate events — only a 25% deposit is required.

### What is your cancellation and weather policy?

You may cancel before delivery and receive full store credit with no expiration. If weather clears later, you can towel-dry the inflatable and continue using it safely.

### Do you offer themed bounce houses in Austin and San Antonio?

Yes. Our inventory includes licensed Disney Princess, Marvel Avengers, Star Wars, Nickelodeon, and Paw Patrol bounce houses, along with sports and castle designs.

### Do you have toddler-size options?

Yes, our [toddler units](https://www.skyhighpartyrentals.com/austin/san-antonio-tx-toddler-inflatables) are built for ages 2 to 6 with low entry, soft play, and gentle slides.

### Are bounce houses affordable in Central Texas?

Yes. We offer bounce houses at every price point, from basic moonwalks to deluxe combos with slides. Visit our [Austin Specials Page](https://www.skyhighpartyrentals.com/austin/specials) for the latest discounts and seasonal offers.

### What should I do if wind speeds increase during my event?

If wind speeds exceed 15 mph, immediately stop use and turn off the inflatable. Even with stakes or sandbags, inflatables cannot be safely secured in high winds. A good rule of thumb: if you see trees swaying heavily or a storm is approaching, power off the blower until conditions improve.

### Do you offer themed units?

Yes, from Disney Princess and Marvel to Star Wars, Paw Patrol, sports, and castles. You can't filter by theme on the category page, but visit our [themes section](https://www.skyhighpartyrentals.com/party-themes) to see every product that matches your theme. If you don't see it there, just search the theme in the search bar at the top of the site.

### What ages are these best for, and how many kids at once?

Most suit ages 2 to 12, and a standard unit fits 6 to 8 kids of similar size at a time. Capacity and ages are on every product page; keep similar sizes together with an adult supervising.

### What power do I need, and what if there is no outdoor outlet?

Each unit runs on a blower that needs a standard outlet within about 50 feet, ideally its own 20-amp circuit so the breaker does not trip. No outdoor power, or setting up at a park? Add a generator at checkout and we will bring it so everything runs all day.
